Anchor & Form grew from a desire to create interiors that feel thoughtful, distinctive and genuinely connected to the people who use them.
Based in Cape Town, the studio works across residential, hospitality and commercial spaces, bringing a personal and considered approach to every project.
The name speaks to the balance at the heart of our work. Anchor represents what grounds a space: purpose, function and a sense of belonging. Form is how it takes shape through proportion, materiality and detail. We are drawn to natural textures, sculptural pieces and unexpected combinations, creating spaces that feel layered, warm and individual.
Our Approach
We begin with how a space needs to work and how people want to feel within it. From there, flow, scale and function form the foundation, followed by furniture, finishes and carefully considered details. The result is an interior that feels cohesive rather than overly styled, comfortable to live in and personal to its setting.
